About the project
The Problem:
Hot97 needed a studio revamp, part of the revamp included environmental wall designs that made the space more interesting and interactive.
The Solution:
Jeffrey Thacker (VP of Digital at Hot97 at the time) tasked myself and Jen Thacker to come up with a look for the wall. I took the lead and came up with the initial mocks for the look and feel as well as the lyric wall.
The Goal:
Make the studio space reflect the essence of the station’s history and the music of legendary artists played at the station.
Initial exploration:
I was given a variety artist images. These photos were taken by Karl Ferguson and Deneka Peniston.
